A Special Relationship

Paige and Max have developed a friendship of sorts. It all has to do with toys and food and sharing. While Paige loves to play with Max's squeaky toys (she even puts them in her mouth-yuck!) He generally leaves her toys alone. But when it comes to food it's another matter entirely. Max camps out under the high chair whenever Paige is eating, and with good reason. Not only does he scavenge food particles that mistakenly fall to the floor, but Paige actually sees him down there and purposely drops food down there for him (No, Paige! Max doesn't eat bananas). When it's Max's turn to eat she will sit uncomfortably close to watch him, and he doesn't seem to mind. She has been doing this for a while, but now she sits so close she literally touches him. Sometimes she will stick her hand in his water bowl, and we have caught her trying to eat his kibble on more than one occasion. His dog food doesn't really contain anything we don't eat already, but somehow it's still yucky.

Fascinating!

He didn't leave any for me!
