{new year, new outlook}

This year, is going to be good. Maybe not great, but good. I truly don't have a whole bunch of control over it, but the parts that I do, I will.

This blog is not going to be a neglected part of my life this year. There will be posting more than once a week. I will be bringing you a small slice of our life. A slice of our normal, good, life.

So, please, come back and visit. I promise to make you smile.



My mantra for the year: Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return.
